At Queensland Transport, we are making a complex, dynamic and challenging transport environment safer, easier to negotiate, more environmentally friendly and more cost effective for people and goods moving across town, intrastate, interstate and overseas.
The department works closely with the Department of Main Roads, QR, port authorities, other government departments, local governments, industry and the community to ensure a coordinated, consultative and integrated approach to addressing and resolving transport challenges.
Our extensive statewide network includes customer-service centres, government agencies, marine operation bases, and regional and divisional offices. This ensures we are always within reach. Delivery of these services is guided by our service standards.
We want to create and manage a world-class transport system for all our communities and industries, to prosper locally and internationally, and enhance the quality of transport now and in the future.
