
Information Management Division
Information Management Division is the information and communication technology provider within Queensland Transport. We deliver services to almost 10 000 customers throughout our department and other government agencies.Information Management Division aims to be a trusted business partner, adaptive and responsive to the needs of our clients. Our key roles and objectives include:
- managing and providing information technology services and solutions
- guiding departmental information and investment decisions
- developing departmental information and communication strategies
- managing information policies and standards.

Queensland Transport plays a vital role in maintaining an efficient and effective transport system to support our strong economy. Each employee of Queensland Transport, no matter where they work or what they do, relies on the high quality services and impeccibly dependable level of performance of Information Management Division to do their jobs.

Current projects
- New Queensland driver licence
The new Queensland driver licence initiative introduces smartcard technology for Queensland drivers licences, improving the security and functionality of licences and other products issued by Queensland Transport. - Transport Integrated Customer Access
The Transport Integrated Customer Access project involves refreshing the software available in Queensland Transport customer service centres throughout the state, offering greatly improved levels of usability, efficiency and customer service. - Desktop rollout
The desktop rollout project currently underway involves upgrading the existing fleet of desktop and laptop computers currently in use by over 4000 Queensland Transport staff. This upgrade will improve the efficency of service provision across the state.
