Transport Leadership Team
Queensland Transport's leadership team consists of a Director-General, two Deputy Directors-General, eight Executive Directors and three General Managers. The Transport Leadership Team strives to lead and manage the department by:- setting strategic direction
- adopting a consistent corporate strategy
- administering the delivery of products and services
- supervising the conduct and performance of senior management
- identifying and addressing the principal risks to Queensland Transport's business and goals
- ensuring procedures are appropriate so that Queensland Transport's business is conducted in an honest, transparent and ethical manner
- monitoring financial performance.
Queensland Transport has three main roles: (1) transport leadership—including policy and planning, (2) system stewardship—managing access to, and use of, the transport system, and (3) service delivery—coordinating and integrating transport-related services and infrastructure.
