Disability Service Plan

The Disability Services Act 2006 provides a strong foundation for promoting the rights of people with a disability, increasing their wellbeing and encouraging their participation in the life of the community. Under the Act, all government departments are required to develop and implement a Disability Service Plan.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads' Disability Service Plan builds on the achievements of earlier plans and shows our continuing commitment to ensure that all Queenslanders have appropriate transport choices and fair access to the transport system.

The plan is available for download:

If you wish to comment or provide feedback on the plan, please contact the department via email at: ptdisability@tmr.qld.gov.au.
