Queensland public transport concessions
The Queensland Government offers concessions and discounts for the use of public transport that ensure a suitable level of access and mobility for many people who would otherwise be disadvantaged.
A 50 per cent concession is available for:
- Queensland Gold Repatriation Health Card (Gold Card)
- Queensland Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) holders
- Queensland Seniors Card (QSC) holders.
A 50 per cent discount is available for:
- Children aged 5–14 years (inclusive)
- Full-time Queensland primary school students
- Full-time Queensland secondary school students
- Eligible full-time Queensland tertiary students.
Free travel is available for:
- Children under 5 years of age
- Person with Vision Impairment (VIP) Travel Pass holders.
