Air user groups

Air user groups were established by QantasLink and MacAir in all communities that receive a regulated air service to ensure a high level of community consultation for the term of the 2002–2007 air service contracts. The group for each route was comprised of (or included) stakeholders identified by the airline, the local council and Queensland Transport.

QantasLink air user groups

QantasLink has air user groups in Charleville, Longreach, Roma, Barcaldine, Blackall, Weipa and Horn Island. For more information on these groups please contact QantasLink or the Queensland Transport Aviation and Regional Transport Management Unit on +61 7 3167 4550.

MacAir Airlines air user groups

MacAir has air user groups in Toowoomba, St George, Cunnamulla, Thargomindah, Quilpie, Windorah, Birdsville/Bedourie, Boulia, Burketown, Normanton, Winton, Mornington Island, Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Julia Creek, Doomadgee, Richmond, Hughenden and Townsville. Please select the air user group you are interested in for further information.
