16 and a half year old learners

To make sure no one is disadvantaged by the changes to the Queensland licensing system, allowances have been made for anyone turning 16½ and who gained their first learner licence in the second half of 2007.

These arrangements also mean you can reduce your 60 hours by recording up to five hours (300 minutes) on-road supervised driving experience with an accredited driver trainer as triple time (one hour = three logbook hours). These five hours will count for 15 hours in your learner logbook.
