Information for P2 probationary and P2 restricted licence holders

P2 type licence holders returning from a disqualification to a P2 type probationary or P2 type restricted licence, where the offence occurred while they were under 25 years of age, must also comply with high-powered (performance) vehicle restrictions.

Note: If you hold a restricted licence you must comply with the no alcohol limit (0.00 per cent) regardless of your age. The length of time you must hold your P2 type licence depends on how old you are when you were first issued the licence. See the provisional licence period table for how long you must hold your P2 type licence.
