Driving interstate with a Queensland driver licence

You are able to drive throughout Australia with your Queensland driver licence.

Driving overseas with a Queensland driver licence

You are generally able to drive internationally (subject to the laws of the country you are travelling in) with an international licence as well as your Queensland driver licence. You are advised to contact the driving authority in the country you are planning to visit to find out that country's licence requirements.

Note: The Department of Transport and Main Roads does not provide, or handle any queries to do with, international licensing.
