Gladstone Integrated Region Transport Plan
The Gladstone Integrated Regional Transport Plan was developed to guide the region's transport needs for the future. It is the result of collaboration between Queensland Transport, the Queensland Department of Main Roads, Gladstone City Council, Calliope Shire Council, QR, Gladstone Port Authority and the Gladstone–Calliope Aerodrome Board, in partnership with state and local government.

Mackay Area Integrated Transport Plan
The Mackay Area Integrated Transport Plan provides a comprehensive framework for future development of the transport network and services to the year 2025, and an overall analysis of the Mackay area transport system. It identifies and addresses current and future transport challenges and includes a plan to help meet emerging transport needs for the Mackay area. It is the first comprehensive, integrated plan for Mackay that considers all modes of transport.
The primary purpose of the Rail Network Strategy is to sustain the rail network and its continuing contribution to the government's desired transport outcomes. The strategy outlines Queensland Government priorities, such as jobs growth and the promotion of Queensland. Above all, it reinforces the importance of appropriate infrastructure development for the success of the state.
