Templates

Templates are an essential part of the governance arrangements for projects as well as ensuring a project's planning, progress and history is thoroughly and consistently documented. Each template has guidance text that helps to complete it. When preparing a new document, the template should be taken from the templates page rather than re-using completed templates. This will ensure that you have the latest version of the template.

Generic project templates are provided for all project types. The generic methodology and the scaling guide (PDF**, 23KB) should be referred to determine the appropriate template to use.  Component project templates are provided for all project types and are linked to the generic methodology via touch points (refer touch points diagrams).

Specialised tailored templates have been developed when there has been sufficient volume of projects in this work category. These included Integrated transport planning framework templates (ITPF) and business planning (Word***, 445KB).

The Integrated Transport Planning Framework (ITPF) is a guide for transport planning in Queensland. It sets out a collaborative, consistent and sustainable approach to transport planning.
