Cycling in Queensland

Riding a bike is a fun, economical, environmentally-friendly and healthy way to get around. This site provides information for anyone who is thinking about bike riding, buying a bike, teaching a child how to ride or getting better cycling facilities in their local area.

Queensland values cycling for the important contribution it makes to the development of a sustainable and effective transport system. Cycling is not just a transport issue—it has significant benefits for health, the environment and tourism, as well as helping to connect communities.
