Public transport

Queensland Transport assists local government-owned transport operators, private bus and ferry operators, taxi and limousine companies and regional air operators to develop efficient, sustainable and flexible transport services. We also remove the barriers to access and mobility, and encourage smarter travel choices.

TransLink provides one single public transport network covering south east Queensland from Gympie North/Noosa to Coolangatta and west to Helidon. Just one TransLink ticket will take you wherever you want to go on buses, trains and ferries within the new system. Zones, fares and concessions have been standardised, providing one set of rules for everyone.

TransLink is working together with the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council, QR and private operators to improve the integration of services. For timetables and schedules, journey planning solutions, fares and special events, please visit the TransLink website.

qconnect
qconnect is a Queensland Government initiative providing improved public transport services and greater connectivity and accessibility of services throughout regional, rural and remote Queensland.
